Job Title: Cloud Migration Consultant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Migration Consultant to join our team. The consultant will be responsible for porting our SwiftAssist AI platform from Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with both GCP and AWS, as well as a strong background in AI and large language models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of the SwiftAssist platform from GCP to AWS, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transition.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand the current architecture and identify migration requirements.
- Optimize the platform for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency on AWS.
- Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure, security, and compliance.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure the platform functions correctly post-migration.
- Provide documentation and training to the internal team on the new AWS infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience with GCP and AWS, including hands-on experience with cloud migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of AI, large language models (LLMs), and data analytics.
- Proficiency in Python, VueJS, Node, and BigQuery.
- Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques and tools like Pincone.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certification.
- Experience with automated deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Background in data security and compliance standards.
